About The Artist
Lynda Carrier-Metz
LCM has lived in Wichita her adult life. She and her husband also have a farm near Gypsum which is a place for much of her inspiration.
She is a Self-taught artist of works that range from Impressionist acrylic sculpture painting to detailed petites.
She loves color. Flowers and trees end up on the canvas or wood most often, but also quirky animals: cows, llamas, bear, pig, and most recently a giraffe.
She is known by some as the one that painted KU "Graduation on the Hill", which can be purchased as a print or cards.
